Shipping

Can I pick up my order in Calgary?
No. At this time, all orders are shipped directly to customers and local pickup is not available.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is free on Canadian orders over $100. Orders under $100 ship for a flat rate of $12.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically packed within 2–3 business days. Shipping times can vary depending on destination, weather, holidays, and carrier delays.

Will I receive tracking information?
Yes 🌿 Tracking information is emailed automatically once your order ships. If you don’t see it, please check your junk or promotions folder just in case.

Do you ship outside Canada?
At this time, we only ship within Canada.

What is your return policy?
Eligible regular priced items may be returned in new, unworn condition with original packaging within our return window.

Do customers pay return shipping?
Yes. Customers are responsible for return shipping if they choose a refund. For exchanges or store credit, a prepaid return label may be available.

Can I exchange an item?
Yes 🌿 Exchanges and store credit are available.

What if shoes or clothing don’t fit?
Fit can vary depending on brand, style, foot shape, and personal preference, so fit cannot be guaranteed. We always recommend reviewing sizing information carefully before ordering.

What is Goat Rewards?
Goat Rewards is our loyalty program that lets you earn points while shopping with us.

How do I earn points?
You earn Goat Rewards points automatically on eligible purchases while logged into your customer account.

How do I view my points and rewards?
To view your points and rewards, click the Goat Rewards button in the bottom right corner of our website while logged into your account.

How do I redeem rewards?
Available rewards will appear inside the Goat Rewards panel once enough points have been collected.

Do Goat Rewards points expire?
Goat Rewards points currently do not expire.

Do you offer birthday rewards?
Yes 🎉 Members can receive birthday rewards after adding their birthday to their Goat Rewards account.

Products

Are all products vegan?
Yes. The Grinning Goat is proudly vegan, and we do not sell products made with animal materials.

Will colours look exactly the same in person?
We do our best to accurately photograph products, but colours may vary slightly depending on screen settings and lighting.

Why do some products say “Vegetarian Shoes”?
Vegetarian Shoes is the name of a long running vegan footwear company founded in the UK over 20 years ago. Despite the name, all Vegetarian Shoes products are completely vegan and free from animal materials.

Store Information

Do you have a physical store?
The Grinning Goat is currently an online only shop based in Calgary, Alberta. We do not have a retail storefront and do not offer local pickup.

Can I try items on in person?
At this time, we do not have an in person shopping location or fitting area available. All orders are shipped directly to customers across Canada.

What if my shoes don't fit?
Fit can vary depending on brand, style and personal preference, so we always recommend reviewing sizing information before ordering. If something doesn’t work out, exchanges and store credit are available. Refunds are also available, with customers responsible for return shipping.

Sanctuary Support

Do purchases support animal sanctuaries?
Yes 🌿 Supporting animal sanctuaries has always been an important part of The Grinning Goat.

How does sanctuary support work?
Each month, we donate to a different animal sanctuary while also regularly supporting sanctuary fundraisers, auctions, and rescued animals in need. We also proudly sponsor two rescued goats 🐐
