Created as a solution to a lack of ethical vegan shopping destinations, The Grinning Goat opened in Calgary as a brick and mortar vegan fashion boutique in September 2017, carrying men’s and women’s footwear, apparel, outerwear, belts, bags, vegan flair and more. The Grinning Goat is named after Arwyn, the first goat to be rescued at The Alice Sanctuary just outside of Calgary. The Alice Sanctuary is a permanent home for rescued and abused farmed animals.
