At The Grinning Goat Boutique, we believe fashion should feel good — inside and out. Every product we choose is rooted in compassion, crafted with care, and proof that style and ethics belong together. We’re here to celebrate all the vegan things and to build a kind, conscious community around them.

Created as a solution to the lack of ethical vegan shopping destinations, The Grinning Goat opened in Calgary in September 2017 as a brick-and-mortar vegan fashion boutique. From the beginning, our focus has been on thoughtfully chosen men’s and women’s footwear, bags, accessories, and everyday essentials — all 100% animal-free.

The Grinning Goat is named after Arwyn, the first goat rescued by The Alice Sanctuary just outside of Calgary. Supporting farm animal sanctuaries has always been at the heart of what we do and every order helps us continue that commitment.

In July 2023, The Grinning Goat moved fully online, allowing us to continue offering carefully curated vegan products while reaching a wider community across Canada.
